Nursing Care

If your needs require a home health nurse (LPN or RN) to supervise Companion or Personal care, or to implement the plan of care in accordance with your physician’s orders, we are pleased to arrange Nursing caregivers who can do the following:

  • Administering and managing medication
  • Maintaining medical plan of care
  • Wound care, including dressing changes
  • Colostomy and urostomy care, including changing skin barrier wafers and skin care to stoma site
  • Assisting with physician-ordered dietary instructions
  • Assessing client condition
  • Conferencing with physician & physician’s office to update or obtain necessary physician’s orders
  • Initiating and administering insulin shots
  • Administering eye drops and ear drops
  • Referring to health-related businesses as needed, such as physicians, Medicare companies, durable medical supply companies, etc.
  • Filling medication box(es) – weekly or bi-weekly
