Sometimes a family member requires a licensed health professional who can attend to more personal needs. Elderly persons often require personal assistance but are embarrassed to permit family members to assist. We can help by arranging a Personal caregiver (Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide) who can provide your spouse or parent improved health and hygiene without sacrificing their dignity or privacy. Personal Care includes all the tasks of Companion Care PLUS:
- Measuring temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure
- Assisting with prescribed range-of-motion exercises
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
- Assisting with skin care, oral care, hair care, hygienic care, etc.
- Assisting with mobility and ambulation functions such as turning, transferring, exercising, and walking
- Assisting with ambulation devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and canes
- Assisting with fall prevention
- Assisting with changing colostomy bags
- Reinforcing a dressing
- Observing appearances
- Reporting significant behavioral changes to the proper personnel
